Online Safety
Being a teenager now-a-days many people have social media accounts and use the internet a lot more in our everyday lives, although it might seem harmless, it is quite dangerous. On most social media accounts many different people can look at them without you even knowing that they did or who they are. Online features has its positives and negatives about it so it is important to stay safe on social media and online. Just by doing simple things like turning your social media accounts on private can help to stay safe from unwanted people. Also remember to keep your personal information to your-self.
Some times on social media it isn't just people that you don't know looking at your page but it might even be people that go to your school who might be saying mean comments or dislike like your photos this is called social bullying, if they would do it constantly (find more about this on page 2 "what is bullying?"). If you ever feel unsafe online or on social media ask a parent, carer, responsible adult or even a teacher if it concerns anything to do with the school.
