Building Resilience
As a teenager it may be hard to deal with bullying in your everyday lives, so it is important to learn how to build resilience. Building resilience is important as it is the ability to cope with negative challenges in your daily lives, and gives you the power to bounce back from those times. To build resilience you need to have a positive belief in your own abilities, embrace change and be confident. Many people who have been bullied become anxious or depressed; this can often lead to self harm, so it is a good idea to have resilience.

2. Find a resilient role model.
3. Face your fears.
Different situations and life changing experiences in a persons life may cause their resilience to rise and fall. If you are a resilient person you are able to ask for help in times of need and believe that you have control over your own life. You also understand that life is full of difficult challenges and are a strong, skillful communicator.
